Beef Steak Sandwich |

2 lean beef rib eye steaks
15ml (1tbsp) olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
5ml (1tsp) black pepper
15ml (1tbsp) wholegrain mustard
1 aubergine, sliced
Rocket leaves
Ciabatta Loaf |
Place in a bowl olive oil, garlic, black pepper and wholegrain mustard. Add steaks and mix well, cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Heat griddle pan or barbeque. Cook over a high heat for 3-5 minutes (longer if you prefer well done steak).
Serve with grilled or barbecued aubergine slices, rocket leaves and mayonnaise mixed with sweet dipping chilli sauce and served in a sliced-through Ciabatta loaf. |
