Sausage Bruschetta

Herby sausage bruschetta with apple and cranberry chutney

Moderately Hot oven, Gas Mark 6, 200°C, 400°F
3 beef or lamb herby sausages
170g ready made fresh garlic bread loaf

Apple and Cranberry Relish
15ml (1tbsp) cranberry sauce
30ml (2tbsp) pre-made chunky apple sauce
Preheat the oven. Place sausages on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-30 minutes until thoroughly cooked. 10 minutes before the end of cooking time, cut the bread into slices, place on a baking tray and bake. Make Apple and Cranberry Relish: mix together cranberry sauce with pre-made chunky apple sauce.

Remove cooked sausages from the oven, carefully cut into thick chunky slices, spoon over a dollop of relish and serve.
