We
work very closely with the farmers who supply our meat. We
have selected from the very best of British beef herds,
farmed with consideration so that animals are not stressed
and are able to wander free range, feeding on lush green
pastures. During winter they are fed a natural diet,
free of animal protein, growth promoters, antibiotics or
additives of any kind. The resulting organic beef is of
very high quality - come to the Macey's shop and try it
out.
If your meat has been stored in the refrigerator please
allow it to come to room temperature before placing it
in a preheated oven. After cooking, allow the beef to stand
for a further 5-10 minutes before serving so that it can
relax. Do test as you go, because cooking times are
a guide only and will vary with kitchen conditions.
